Never Buy Mandarins Again – Grow Your Own and Enjoy an Endless Supply!

Mandarins, one of nature’s finest treasures! This delightfully refreshing citrus fruit not only bursts with flavor but is also packed with healthy nutrients like fiber, potassium, and, as everyone knows, vitamin C. Being smaller and easier to peel than navel oranges, it’s no wonder that many people indulge in mandarins every day!

Yet, many folks seem to forget just how versatile they are. While they’re fantastic on their own, mandarins can be used in a myriad of dishes, from chicken salads and vanilla puddings to tangy sauces (perfect for fish tacos!) and luscious cream pies.

Instead of constantly buying mandarins from the supermarket, why not cultivate them at home? An endless supply of pesticide-free mandarins… who wouldn’t want that? While growing them at home might seem daunting, it’s actually easier than you might think. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Choose a medium-sized pot with drainage holes at the bottom.
  2. Place a layer of small stones at the pot’s bottom, then add organic soil.
  3. Plant the mandarin seeds, ensuring they are well-covered without pressing the soil too firmly.
  4. Position the pot in a sunny area.
  5. Occasionally use a fertilizer rich in zinc, magnesium, and iron.
  6. Water the mandarins whenever the soil is dry up to an inch deep, and prune any withered or broken branches.
  7. Enjoy your mandarins and handle them with care when harvesting!

Voila! With a little tender loving care, you’ll have an endless supply of pesticide-free mandarins grown right at home. If only I had known this before!
