You only need a plant that you can get at any nursery, a pot and the soil. Afterwards, it only requires some special care for this type of plant, but don’t worry because they are not that complicated.
Here are some tips for growing your potted lemon tree.
1- As soon as you plant it, you can put organic substrate on it so that your plant grows strong and healthy. You can buy it at any nursery.
2- This plant needs 6 hours of sunlight, no more and no less. With those hours, we make it perfectly nourished and the plant grows strongly.
3- We have to use a large pot because as our plant grows, the roots are also growing. If the roots are compressed by the little space, the plant stops growing.
4- Watering is very important, it is recommended to water it twice a day. Taking care that puddles do not form, this could drown the plant and kill it.
5- As it grows, we have to prune our plant. If it has many branches and leaves, what it does is distribute more nutrients than it can absorb.
6- You can remove some soil from around the plant and mix it with compost. Help make it stronger.
7- We can have the plant inside our house most of the year, the bad thing is that it does not grow fast enough, but inside it will be fine.
